Rachel Pisani, is an accomplished public relations and marketing strategist with more than 25 years of experience in the Non-Profit, Technology and International Trade sectors. She has a wealth of experience in strategic branding and cohesive marketing. With her background, Rachel is uniquely equipped to help clients achieve their vision and goals.
Prior to founding Rachel Pisani Marketing, Rachel most recently served as Global VP of Marketing and Business Development at the world’s largest International Trade law firm and Trade Consulting service firm, Sandler & Travis Trade Advisory Services. She had oversight of teams in Japan, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany and the United States.
Previously, as a PR and Marketing Strategist in the Washington DC area, primarily focused on International Trade organizations, including technology companies and non-profit organizations. As a business consultant, Rachel was a key player in several successful DC-based technology companies, where she helped to set up their board of directors, bring VC funding to the table, place CEOs and executives, conduct business process re-engineering, implement marketing plans, negotiate M&A’s and was an integral part of leading multiple start-up ventures to successful exits. Excelling at growth strategies, one start up went from $1M in revenue to $22M in less than 18 months. Another went from $900k to over $55M in less than 3 years. Successful exits include mergers with JP Morgan, UPS, Agilex, and Accenture.
Working at Vastera, Rachel became responsible for multiple divisions such as Direct Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Development and Client Relations, and was instrumental in the companies explosive growth and successful initial public offering in September 2000 and eventually the acquisition by JP Morgan Chase.
Rachel serves on Boards for several non-profit organizations and is an advocate and spokesperson for numerous charities including environmental cancer clusters, public education reform and more. As an advocate she has been appointed liaison between federal and state regulators forming senate oversight committees and raising funds for non-profits. She has written legislation and helped to pass laws for health and education reform. She has been featured in Forbes and is a regular guest on FOX News and NBC, and has testified before the Senate Ways and Means and Finance Committees regarding proposed legislation and addendums she wrote to Senate Bill 574.
